Cost of SQL Server 2012 server

    hi Friends,

    Not sure if any one can tell me approximate price to get the following server?

    We would like to get the quote for SQL 2012 with the following speficiation. I've been checking microsoft website but it is very confusing around price per core etc. I am developer and dont know much about hardware side.

    PowerEdge R720XD & PoweVault MD1200

    2 x Intel Xeon E5-2680 2.7GHz 8c

    128GB RAM

    OS – 600GB

    TempDB – 1.2TB

    Log – 1.8TB

    DB – 6TB

    Speak to your MS Reseller or MS Directly for a quote, but with that hardware you will need 16 core licenses.
