List of primary duties:
·Database design and/or redesign of existing databases for infrastructure of company’s operations as a TM agency.
·Migration from older database technologies (FoxPro 2.6, Visual FoxPro 6.0, SQL 6.5) to SQL 2000
·Work side-by-side with developers who write and maintain interfaces, processes that interact with database
·Provide meaningful input to plans, recommendations for improvement of existing systems
·Work with functional groups within the company to scope user access levels and security roles, and implement based on mutual decisions
·Implement changes for design, redesign, improvement, tuning of databases, associated processes
·Assist in performing testing and QA on procedures
·Document design and procedures in written text and in flow chart formats
·Provide meaningful input on implementation of standards within development organization
·Abide by existing standards within development organization
·Coordinate with appropriate groups for scheduling backups
Required Skills Five (5) or more years experience with SQL, with three (3) years experience or more in Microsoft SQL 7.0 or 2000; Two (2) to four (4) years experience working with an object-oriented programming language; experience with lead role on technical projects. DESIRED: Two (2) or more years experience in web technologies such as Java, HTML
