COpying Database in SSMS

    Hi,

    Please can someone help here. I'm trying some things on some hyper v machines, and have come accross a major probblem with something as simple as copying a database.

    I have tow instances on one Virtual Server, and am trying to copy from one to the other. I have checked all the permsissions, and they are all allowed. I have checked all the Dcom Component services and they are all correct. Firewall rules are set, and the group policy on the domain controller is correct, and server agent is enabled on each instance.

    Yet everytime I try to copy it, it fails due to maximum amount of errors allowed. I don't want to change the rule to allow errors, as I want the database to copy correctly, but nothing I'm trying seems to work.

    Can anyone help please?
