Hello all,
I have executed one query in a remote connection and found good result. This is very important result for me. I want to copy this data to my system but this is not able to copy the data. Perhaps issue with clipboard.
My system is XP version professional 2002 service pack 3
Remote server: Windows server 2003.

Save it into a file and send it to your mailbox.

I had the same issue, this may sound silly, but when you copy the data from the window, wait 5-10 seconds and then paste it into your other application.
Obviously watch out about the amount of data in the copy and paste, you dont want to go and copy huge amounts of data across the remote connection.
Sounds silly I know but it works a treat for us!

What tool did you use to run the query?
Any GUI interface like New Query feature in SSMS? all GUI tools offer some sort of "save" option.
On SSMS just right click on Results grid then hit Save Results As...
