Copy jobs from SQL Server 2000 to 2005

  Hello

  Can you please suggest me the easier way to copy the jobs from SQL Server 2000 to 2005 while migrating the server to MS SQL Server 2005. Can I restore msdb from backup of 2000? Does the monitoring and maintainence jobs of MS SQL Server 2000 works fine with MS SQL Server 2005. I've written DBreindex, index defrag if needed from the output of DBCC Showcontig, monitoring blocking, db, log & disk space, CPU usage, long running jobs. Will all the jobs run in MS SQL Server 2005 ?

  You can't restore or attach system databases from 2000 to 2005.

  You can script all the jobs and run that script on 2005.

  There is no guarntee all jobs should run successfully. YOu have to test them because you may be using the code which not covered in 2005.
