Hi,
print(convert(varchar(max),xmltypevariable)) works only for 8000 chars
Is there any oher way to do this?

The convert is working, it is just the display using "print" that is truncating it.

IF you print LEN(CONVERT(VARCHAR(MAX),xmltypevariable)) you will see the conversion has worked.

What are you hoping to do by PRINTing it?

Now I understood.My requirement is only convert the variable not to print that.

So as u said conversion has worked without any problem.
