Converting a date in string format to a date field in UK format

  • Sounds like it's going into Excel as text to me.

  • Yes, I agree. At a loss how to force writing to a date field (or custom date and time formatted field) really. There doesn't seem to be any means of configuring the destination field format unless you can point me otherwise.

  • If no one else answers in the meantime, I will try to set up a test later. There must be a way! What about firing in the number which Excel is actually holding for date fields (eg, 40178 for 31/12/2009)?
