Hi friends,
I gave grant control permission to an approle, but the user executing this approle is not able to create any new procedures or execute the existing procedures..
Do I need to give more permissions other than the control permission?
Please help me..
Thank you

Is that the only permission you granted?

Yes...
I created the user in the database, so the user has just the connect permission and no other permissions for this user..
Approle is granted control permission to the database. When the user executes this approle, I thought he should be able to do everything in the database. But he is unable to create procedures or execute stored procedures.... Isnt control permission enough?
Or will assigning the dbo schema to this role fix this issue?? I'm not sure if there is a command to assign the dbo schema to this role.. Basically, this role should have full access to the database... please help ..
Thank you so much for your help
