  Hi everyone,

  I am looking at the "Total # of contentions" counter under the ".NET CLR LocksAndThreads" object. This counter is reporting that sqlserver is having a "Last", "Average", "Min", "Max" of 98 contentions. Does anyone else see this on their servers? I checked and on this server there was absolutely nothing running on sql server at the time of the reading. Any help is greatly appreciated. Tx.
