I'm consolidating two servers to one.
Both are SQL 2005 SP2 and the same OS etc but one has SSIS packages stored in MSDB.
What is the best way to move all the SSIS packages, can anyone point me to some articles, I searched but to not much avail.
Can anyone give me some best practices for consolidation?
Thanks

If you are using two instances then you can restore the msdb that contains ssis package to one of the instances, this will bring accross the package and all other info is msdb such as logins etc

Unfortunately it's all onto one instance hence my dilema.
Is there a way of either scripting out the SSIS packages or backing up just the SSIS packages?
Thanks

If you have the source SSIS package you re-deploy to your new instance.
