  Hi all:

  If I wanted to research the number of connections in use at a particular time of the day, what would be the best way to approach that?

  Do an sp_who 2 and log it to a table from a SQL Agent Job? I may be reading a lot into your question.

  You could use the sys.dm_exec_connections view.
