I'm trying to connect a server inside my company that we are used to access, but now we are having problems. The administration of the server changed the server's name and now, going inside the server's machine, we find a message saying:
"Unknown SQL Exception 18452 occured. Additional error information from SQL Server is included below.
Login failed for user *. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection."
How can i make the connection again?
Can this issue been occuring because of the name's change?

You go to Services and go the SQL Server Instance Properties and Go to Log on tab and give the authentication setting to use a domain account. Log on to your Management Studio by logging on to the server using the Windows Authentication and modify the security settings by updating the passwords.
