I have a project where users connect using integrated NT security to the server. The problem I am having is when they try to connect over VPN with their user name and password, they get the error message of unable to login to server (not trusted null)
When I try to put the user name and password manually, it still would not connect. I created a special user name for that access to solve the problem using SQL security. Although it works, it interferes with my data where some procedures rely on the login name
Any help

Integrated security should work if, and I say if, the user logs into the domain via 'normal' means. In other words either your VPN has hooks into AD or the remote computers on the other end of the VPN must join the domain. There may be something in kerberos security to help this but it may ruin the security of the VPN.
