Connection managers in package XML

  I'm seeing some very strange behavior. I'm just beginning my adventures in the project deployment model. When I create a new package, I can see every connection manager in design view. However, when I view the package XML, none of the connection managers are present.

  Has anyone else run into this?

  I have not, but I wonder if maybe they exist at your project level instead of the package level, so they might be located in one of the project's XML files.
