Connection Error

    Hi.

    1. I can connect to OLap Server.

    2. I can connect to Source Database( I see preview of Data

    When Processing Cube / Dimension I get a Data Source Provider Connection Error:

    Connection Failed for User Domain/User

    Any Ideas?

    How are you processing the cube? In Analysis Manager or DTS or DSO etc. Are you using Windows NT security or SQL security on your source connection?

    All Done through AS Using NT Authentication

    Try giving the account MSOLAP runs under read access to the SQL server you need to connect to.

    Reading your mail made me go Check Some Settings, and you were spot on. My Desktop did not have Permissions on the Sorce SqL DataBase. Thanks, Pretty Dumb of me.
