I am running SQL 2K on Win 2K Advanced server and run the Enterprise Manager on an XP Pro workstation. I am receiving the following error everytime that I try to register the server.
--
SQL Server Registration failed
Can not generate SSPI context
--
What is the meaning behind this error and how do I resolve it?
Thanks,
Wills

Hi,
SSPI stands for Security Support Provider Interface. When you connect to SQL Server using NT authentication this interface is used. From time to time I also get this error, but it happens only once. Second start of EM is normal. Maybe you should take a look at MSDN
Cheers,
Frank
