Title pretty much says it all...
I'm getting a 'SQL Server does not is exist or access denied' when trying to run a report on SSRS 2000 that connects to a SQL 2005 instance. In Visual Studio it works fine but on the server I gets no love.
Has anyone here tried to do this before and was there a work around?
Thanks!

The report is using a SQL Login to connect to the DB

okay so after testing it I have determined that SSRS is not able to connect to a SQL 2005 instance. I had a hunch that it would work if I installed the 2005 client tools on the SSRS 2000 server but couldn't get clearance from the all knowing wizard we have dictating our environment here...
After moving the db to a SQL 2000 instance all is working fine...
Hope this helps someone!
