Connecting to a Server

  • We have a system which is used for data management and is on local area network. I have been accessing it without problems. Just Friday has been given me this error: "An error occurred while accessing T :\\10.137.18.82/Teleform, Microsoft Windows Network: The specified network name is no longer available. This connection has not been restored"

How should I solve this error?

I am just new in this field and this forum has been a source of my answers and I have been grateful to that.

open command prompt and try to ping this system. or open the run window and place \\10.137.18.82 and press 'OK' button.

if both fails then contact your system administrator because either the System is down or IP is changed.

  • Many thanks for your response. Let me do it and see if it works
