When I try to connect to the SSIS service on my local machine through the Server Management Studio, I receive the following error message:
Connect to SSIS Service on machine <machinename> failed: No such interface supported
I have the service running, I've changed the MsDtsSrvr.ini.xml to use the named instance of my machine, all to no avail. What interface could it be looking for? Anybody else experiencing this problem? I read somewhere that you needed to register msxml3.dll and msxml6.dll for a similar situation. I tried that, but msxml6.dll said DllRegisterServer in msxml6.dll failed. Return code was 0x80070005. I'm not sure why this is happening. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the msxml support but that didn't help either.
Any help would be appreciated

I'm having the same problem since a couple of months. Before everything worked fine. Then, due to hard disk problems we had to reinstall SQL Server. From then on I've been unable to use the Integration Services. I'll post the solution if I ever find it.
All the best!
