    I guess for that you need to be on same network. First connect to office network then you can connect to the server.

    I think now you can see Ur's office SQL server at Home's SQl server, B'coz U have ragister it now. as per above link.

    If U can see your Office server then its connected, what next you want to do?

    Or may be I can't Understand what's U R looking For?

    After configuring the settings in firewall and sql server surface area configuration.

    how do I connect my Office PC from home PC using SQL Server Management Studio?

    IF I need to use my Office Modem IP or anything like this?

    Can u Ping/ Share Resorces from Office to Home PC If Yes Just do as following.

    1. Right button on “My computer” and select Manage and you will get Computer Management Window

    2. Right click on Computer Management and select Connect to another computer.

    3. You will have a "Select Computer Window"

    4. Give the Remote Computer Name and press OK

    5. Now, you will have the remote computer's Computer Management Window

    6. Click on Services and Applications7. Select SQL Server Configuration Manager

    And Then do this.

    1. Open SQL Server Management Studio. lagin Ur Local Sql Server

    2. Right click on Local Server

    3. New Server Ragistration.

    4. In the New Server Registration dialog, enter the name of the remote computer in the Server name field, click on Test and then Save. If the Database Engine on the remote computer requires SQL Server authentication, you have to change Authentication to SQL Server Authentication to enter the username and password.

    5. Back in the Registered Servers window in SQL Server Management Studio,
