Connect to Analysis Services Using Java???

    Hi All,

    How can I connect to the Analysis Service using java???

    What are the possibilties.

    You should start with Microsoft JDBC download because it maybe better than standard OLE DB connection because there is native Oracle connection in VS2005/8.

    Did not fine the jdbc suitable, there were couple of drivers available like olap4j... but was not able to make them work 🙁

    so did a workaround, connected to sql server and then from there I had an openrowset pointing to the olap server. and it worked, the only issue is it is bit slow, but it is working as i have to just retrieve the data and show it on the screen.
