Way to go, Frank! It's nice to see someone's hard work recognized. And congrats on the MVP as well!
I stand in awe of you and the other "big guys."

Congratulations MVP Kalis. A well-deserved honor, and a bit of payback for the selfless help you've given others over the years.
And congratulations on the new baby Kalis too. If anything like Dad, it'll be counting to 0x64 in no time.
Cheers,

Boy, oh, boy. This is the kind of stuff that makes monday morning a whole lot easier!!!
There are so many response here right now, that I again want to express my true and honest "Thank you!".
And now let me pass the ball back to you all. Keep on posting here! It were your questions that let me learn. And after all, that's what it's all about. I'm still learning every day.
Moreover what I really like here about this community is that we don't have such a "hit and run" mentality. I mean, when you follow the newsgroups you see someone asking a question, gets an answer, thank you, good-bye. You see the regulars there and a whole lot of one-time posters, that you'll never see again. I think webfora in general, and SSC in particular do not have such a mentality. People who post (the first one is the hardest, hint, hint!!!) come back again and stick to it. That's a good thing, because that way a "social component" is created. People know each other. It's not that anonymous, imo.
Okay, having that said....
...and instead of replying to each single post (and running into the danger of forgetting someone), I think this is better.

Not sure Frank... it appears that some Dude got promoted to most valuable primate... don't know what the fuss is all about .
April 14, 2005 at 12:49 am
Thanks, Michael!
And Remi, . At times the distinction between a primate and a human is nothing but a thin flowing line. And that not only applies to MVP's.
