New to SQL 2005, attempting to replicate from prod OLTP servers to what will be dw server. New to replication, also, but understand distributor, publisher, subscriber, articles.
It's unlikely that our net admin will allow a new domain user for replication, so I'm not sure how to allow server accounts access to each other?
I can create whatever local admin accounts I desire, but apparently not understanding the new security model in 05 well enuf to get this fixed up.
Also read that some of this will hinge on how I have the Agent set up?

It is good practice to have different account for Distributor, publisher and subscriber. But if your Replicated DB is in the same network as your publisher, then you can use the same domain user that you have in the publisher (Service Account) on your distributor and subscriber.
You will also need to set up a UNC share for the snapshot folder.
