I've installed SQL 2005 Developer on a Windows 7 box. However when I try to access the Report Manager all I get is a Home page with no features. I believe this is the result of a permissions issue? If I try to access the report server (via http://localhost/reportserver) I get the error rsAccessDenied.
Can anyone tell me what permissions I'm missing? I've disabled the anonymous user on IIS and I'm an administrator on the machine (although thats kind of meaningless on Win 7). The Report server config is all as it should be according to Microsoft.
grateful of any help

Try adding the account you want to use to the site security. (top-right, Site Setings, Security, new Role Assignment)

Thanks for your response. I got the same answer from another forum and I kicked myself for not knowing. I came up against the same issue a year or so ago! I guess its my age!
Thanks again

no worries, It's always the last thing I think of when something secuity-ish happens(or dosn't happen)
