I am working for failover clustering in sql 2012 enterprise edition(64bit) on a
single box with 3 vmware(7.0) installed with OS windows server 2008R2 enterprise edition with SP1.
Now I have set up my one of the Virtual Mchine as a domain controller named(VMDMN) and other two V1 and v2 as member servers.
I was able to succesfully create domain.
I have also downloaded iscsi target for creating external storage.but my question is
can I use myVMDMN machine for external storage for quorum disk and MSDTC.
If anybody can help me to have proper steps for installing and configuring windows clustring so that I can do sql clustering over it.
I went through few articles over net but not getting clearity on it.
Thanks in advance

If this is a test/learning environment you can do just about anything you want with it, including using just one network for everything, doing the shared storage via the domain controller machine (starwind is a freebie most use), etc.
Matt Velic and Jonathan Kehayias both have very good, detailed how-tos using Virtual Box.
