Hello,
Last week we changed Compatibility Mode (100 to 110) in our SQL Server 2012. After changed compatibility mode , we have noticed that our backup speed is start deceasing (338 MBPS to 277 MBPS) and backup finish time is start increasing.
Is there any co-relation between backup and Compatibility mode?
Please advice...
Thanks for any suggestion/help.

Quick questions, are the sizes of the backups the same? Are the backups compressed? How long have you been observing this trend?

I can't say this is anything I have ever noticed.

Shouldn't be the case. Compat mode is an instruction to the query processor as to how to treat some T-SQL constructs. It doesn't change the format of the data file, nor the process of backups.
