Hi All,
I am a Data Analyst. We are looking for open source reporting tools that do similar tasks as SSRS BIDS. Our main objective is to look for tools that can help pull data from different SQL Servers. Also, if someone can help us to know the similarities with SSRS would be great. If there is a way to do this in SSRS, please share.

Your "main objective" is somewhat undefined. MS Access can link to different SQL servers (it's obviously not open source, but it meets your objective and you can do report writing.)
As for an open source solution, check out http://www.pentaho.com/
Pentaho is an open source business intelligence suite of applications. I've not tried it out, but the information on their website is impressive. Worth having a look.

Thanks for the information Peter. Main objective is to find out open source products that can pull data from different servers and can provide reporting services. I was looking at Adobe Flex.. It looks a bit complicated though.. I will start looking at Pentaho.
