Hello:
Does anyone know of a command-line ftp utility that supports passive mode and can automatically run a text file (containing ftp commands) after it starts up? I will be using it to automatically ftp a file from one server to another.
There is an FTP commandline client (http://ftp.exe) that ships with Windows but it does not support passive mode (however, it can automatically run the text file after startup via the -s option though).
Some command line FTP links of interest are:
1) describes the windows http://ftp.exe (including the -s option)
2) indicates that windows http://ftp.exe does not support passive mode

Thanks a million in advance,
Billy

We've automated a number of our FTP transmit and receipt jobs using WS_FTP Pro, and it has a a passive mode switch.
