  Consider the following template:

  SELECT * FROM Orders

  INNER JOIN [Order Details] OrderDetail

  FOR XML AUTO

  Order>

  When properly configured for the Northwind database, the url

  http://localhost/NorthWind/template/message.xml?customerId=ALFKI

  delivers a nicely nested xml result.
