Hi All,
In SSRS 08 I have a column report and I would like to have a different page for Series Group, is this possible?
Initial design as spreadsheet:
List1:
Grouping: MediaName
---------------------------
ClientName|BookingYear|Spend
Data Sample:
4BH
------------
Client Name|Booking Year|Spend
Trade|2013|22323
.............|2014|44554
Industry|2013|5544
..........|2014|98789
Magazine
--------------
Client Name|Booking Year|Spend
Insurance|2013|223
.............|2014|454
Agency|2013|7544
..........|2014|789
etc... this is fine and exactly how I want it. But now I need this in a column chart, with a page per media name or a way to select the media name.
Column Chart Design
Values: Spend
Category Groups: ClientName
Series Groups: MediaName
(see attached screen shot)
SSRS tries to fit all the Media names on one page and the reports is unreadable. If anyone knows a way around this, thanks.

It sounds like you might want to try adding a rectangle to your report, grouping that by the media type, inserting the chart into that rectangle, and then removing the media grouping on the chart itself.
I think that will get you what you're looking for, which is a new chart per media type (rather than bunched on one chart together). Try it and let us know what the results are!
Cheers,
Eric
