Collation change

    What things should we keep in mind if changing collation while migration from sql 2k5 to sql 2k8

    Collation setting applied in SQL 2005 should remain the same when you migrate to SQL 2008 , for in-place upgrade this would not be problem.

    Compatability level can be changed to 10 for using the new features of SQL 2008 but before changing this verify it on TEST server before deploying on production.

    I currently have one collation with case sensitive. Want to change it to case insensitive. We will use side by side migration.
