hi we are planning to do the following
two physical servers, each physical server two vm.one is for db and other for application.and clustering between both.
one more physical server with same configuraion in DR site (mirroring).
will this plan work well ?
is there any disadvantages for this option

can you supply a little more info on the virtual environment, are the VMs clustered directly or are you referring to host clusters?

Server1 to server2 cluster.
so if one server down the it wil be redirected to the second one (including the two vm)
will this work out ?
in application side what are the modifications we have to do in connection string.as if one server down the app will also become unavailable.
