Hi All,
I have a small question?
Scenario :- SQL Server 2008 on cluster environment and i want to restart the SQL server so i bring offline through Cluster admin then my SQL not coming online.
On this situation which are the services should i check ??

Check the event logs for more info, there's bound to be an error there somewhere 😉

Hi Perry,
I agree with you but he telling if online will not come then which all are services you will check?? and which services are depend on SQL Server??
I am not confusing you but i am not understand his questions....

If the sql server service will not come online, check that all the dependant resources start successfully, you can see this in failover cluster manager. Take evrything offline and then online them one at a time in sequence. You will need to check the cluster event and application event logs to find out why the instance won't come online.
