Hi All,
We have configured always on with 2 node cluster and both are in different network Zone. In Zone a Node 1 is available, in Zone B Node 2 and shared witness is available. Here we are performing DR activity and we are shutdown all the servers in ZONE B, while doing this operation our cluster is getting down due to that our primary replica went to resolving state.
Could you please help someone to identify the root cause for the same.

classic case scenario of how not to configure your Windows Server Failover Cluster. Do not put your witness resource on the DR site, it should be on a separate site or on the primary site (still not ideal).
Your cluster goes offline because you do not have enough votes online to produce quorum.
What operating system does the cluster nodes use.

Thanks for your information. I think if we are using witness in primary or secondary we will face this cluster fail issue and we are using windows 2012.

No you won't if you put the witness on the primary site. With this configuration if you shutdown the server on the DR site you'll still have the primary node and witness online, the cluster will not go offline.
I highly recommend you read my stairway to HA on this site starting at this link

Here we will perform the DR activity on both the zones. if we are doing this on primary Zone again cluster will down.

Also how can we move Witness shared from this Zone to different zone without effecting cluster.
