Cluste Node Configuration in SQL Server 2008

    Is the Cluste Node Configuration step removed from SQL Server 2008 cluster installation? Because I did not see that installation installaing the binaries on both nodes from the setup GUI (sql 2008) as we do in SQL Server 2005 Please see the attachment.

    I'll give it a shot.

    In 2005, the software was installed on all nodes of a cluster simultaneously.

    In 2008, you install SQL Server one node at a time in a cluster. After you've installed it on the first node by selecting Create SQL Server Failover Cluster, go to the second node and open the installation media. From the installation page you can choose Add Node to SQL Server Failover Cluster. The process is similar from there.
