Does anyone have a recommendation for a thin client-side cube browsing application with similar abilities as BIDS but none of the design abilities of BIDS. I don't want the clients getting confused with the extra tools, just be able to browse a cube with relative ease.

Microsoft Excel, just only one that I know and over here all use that.

Yeah, we're using that over here too. I was just curious about other options.
Thanks!

We are using XLCubed - an Excel addin. It's a very good tool (I don't work for them ;-)).
It's quicker than standard Excel pivot tables & has quite a few funky features such as being able to link reports together and having parameter driven reports

we have a couple BI tools inhouse:
Targit and Tableau
I'm not a user of them so can't tell you much about them but maybe worth a look.
