Using SQL Server 7 English version: I have a database where users can insert and read back Chinese encoded as Big5. My computer has Chinese language enabled and I can normally see Chinese text okay.
But when I look into the database tables in Enterprise Manager, I just see ??? instead of the Chinese. How can I set up EM to display the Chinese correctly?

I am assuming that in your Control Panel Regional settings you have set either Traditional or Simplified Chinese set. Are you using EM to open the table and return all rows or Query Analyzer?

Yes, Chinese is one of the languages listed in my Control Panel regional settings.
I am just using EM.
Other users access the db through a website and they have no problem, so I know the db is recording and sending the correct data, it's just that I can't see it in EM.
