Yes your correct about several points. I didn't write it for a multiple insert/update yet and I need to. The trigger also doesn't validate on the Eng_ItemDesc uniqueness which it needs to do. I include that value Eng_ItemDesc cause I am actually logging that info if an error arrises (code not shown). When I get back in the office in two weeks I'll have to try all the samples out!!!
