Charts Presentation in SSRS

  • Hi,

I want display the chart with sale summary of year 2009 in above X -axis and sale summary of year 2010 below the X-axis..

I mean to say that in a single chart above X - axis i need particular year sale summary, In the same chart below X -axis I need another yer sale summary

    can anyone help on this....

  • Not sure why you want to do this but, I can only think of two methods.

Make 2010 year values as -ve and that bar will show below x-axis. May be you need to work around to change the labels / numbers to different format.

Other option is create two graphs one with 2009 and one with 2010. For 2010 graph, right click on vertical Axis properties and select 'Reverse direction' option, the graph will reverse. Place 2009 graph on top of 2010. You may have to remove some of the axis titles and clean up and beautify the graph so they both fit together and look like one graph.

    Hope this helps,

    regards

  • Hi Natraj,

I tried second option which u said but it's not merging as one chart .....

Note: I am using Sql server 2008

  • Hi

They wont merge together but you just need to place them on top of the other. And make it visible as if they are one graph.

    regards
