Has anyone had experience with changing the sa and/or sqlexec passwords across a large number of servers - say around 200? There are a lot of things to take into consideration such as server registrations in EM, DTS packages, ODBC connections, the lag between when a publisher and subscriber or log shipping servers have their passwords changed, etc. Is it better/possible to automate this process? Ideally we would like to change the sa password every so often and would like to make this process rather simple and as quick as possible. Any tips on doing any part of this would be appreciated!
Thanks.

I've automated the sa change. As far as service accounts, I change those manually. Since I need to restart SQL, might as well watch each one.
As far as EM, up to each person. I tend to use NT Auth for all users that need EM.

Steve -
Can you tell me a little more about your automation process?
Thanks.
