Hi, is there anyway to change the properties (Product name, data source, provider string, etc...) of an existing linked server? When I go to the properties screen, all the options are grayed out.
i'm pretty sure you have to to drop and recreate the linked server;
i'd script the linked server out and change the script.
I'm not much of a GUI kind of guy;
