We are not changing the domain, but users are moving to a new organizational unit in active directory. Users will be logging into windows by using username@orgunit. Am I correct in this will not affect the windows authenticated users? I know that if we change the domain, it would cause issues as the logins would have be changed within SQL Server.
I don't think so, but I'm not sure I've seen this before. If the name of the logins changes, I think ithas to be changed in SQL Server. Note that you should be using Windows groups to grant access, not just logins.
