Changing Auto Update Stats Asyn DB Option

    I can't find anywhere on msdn if changing the Auto Update Statistics Asynchronous database option from False to True would require a recycle of the instance. Does anyone know? If it does not require a recycle, it is ok to change at any time, or would you change at downtime of server?

    Hi,

    To change the Auto Update Statistics options from True to False no need to recycle the instance.And downtime also not required for it.
