Hi,
is there any good reason, why this both values should be set to true. I had to change this values many times.

if you set immediate_sync to true in transactional replication--->The data in the distribution database replicated tables should be maintained through out the retention period .We need to set immediate_sync to true with cautious ,because performance issue will come with large application systems!.
But it is used while configuring new subscription in the course of retention period.

Hi,
thanks for your reply. I had many replications, transactional replications. the biggest database is about 450 GB, and it needs about 14 hours, to create a snapshot, do deliver the snapshot, and to create the indizies at the new database.
If i had to add a new article, i change the value "allow_anonymous & immediate_sync" to false, to prevent such long out-times of the replicated database.
But i like to know, if there is something else to know, if the both values of "allow_anonymous & immediate_sync" are false.
