Change the SSMS Environment

    Hello Everyone

    I think that I just found out why my keyboard cuts are not working. When I run a query, the SSMS app goes into a Debug mode, it looks like Visual Studio instead of SSMS.

    How do I go about changing the environment to act like SQL SSMS to simply run the query, and not to open the debugger and other panes, or should I say pains, LOL., inside of the SSMS environment.

    Hi Andrew,

    Did you install the tutorials from the SQL Server 2008 media? If not you can find them here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms167593.aspx . The first one covers SSMS navigation and customisation.

    Yes I did, I always install everything.

    Let me look around in there see what I can see.

    What happened to being able to use SQL Server and keeping things simple?
