Hi,Previous dba has created some SSIS package. He is the owner of the package.
Recently I joined and started using SSIS packeges without any issues.
Now network admin want to disable the previous DBA all accounts.
Question is..as long as I am logging in with my account and executing packges. I am good
Or
Do we need to change the owner to SA. If so how ? I have some 20 SSIS packages

Where are you seeing the previous DBA listed as the owner? In the properties of the SSIS package or somewhere else? Maybe in the SQL Agent jobs?

No, different. I thought that might be what you were looking at. The value of that Package property is irrelevant. You could set it to anything you like, even an empty string, and it wouldn't affect anything in terms of security during execution.
More important is that the previous DBA's Server Login does not own any databases or SQL Agent jobs.
