Change Sql server 2000 licence mode after installation

    We have a Sql server 2000 installed using Per seat server licence mode.We now want to chnage it to Per processor mode.Otherthan changing the registery(regedt32) , is there any other way we can accomplish this & if somebody tell us changing the Registery will not affect any other thing?

    The licensing mode doesn't affect the operation of the server. It's more of an administrative thing. If you just purchase the per CPU licenses, you are covered. Just add it to your documentation.
