Change regional settings after a default installation

  • Hello world! =)

    i have some problem with

    "EXEC master.dbo.xp_cmdshell 'dir \\servername\anyfolder\*.*'

    The result:

    17/01/2008 09:58 a.m. .

    17/01/2008 09:58 a.m. ..

    17/01/2008 09:58 a.m. Erroneos

Note that getme a time with dots (a.m.) but if i execute a dir command from DOS (on the server) the result is:

    06/25/2008 12:35 AM .

    06/23/2008 20:00 PM POLSUC23062000.TXT

I want set the result on same time mode.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in regards,

    Federico.

  • Are the regional settings the same for each server (check via Control Panel)? Check the time/date formats as well.

  • Yes I ckecked the regional options on server, the solution key was apply the option [Default User Account Settings] from Advanced option under Regional and Language options (if you don´t check this option, the regional formats still working like at the previous moment).

    Thanks for all guys.

    Federico.
