In our company we have approx 60-100 SQL servers, mostly SQL 2000. But a few old ones are still on SQL 6.5 - I want to be able to view those servers from the same server we manage the SQL 2000 servers.
I assume it is not possible to register the 6.5 servers in the same Enterprise Manager we have the SQL 2000 servers listed, but do someone know of a way to do it - some other way?

You can install 6.5 client utilities on that same server

You can register a 6.5 server in 2000 EM, you just can't connect and manage it. You will at least be able to see that the server is running.
Also, You can connect to and execute queries against a 6.5 server using 2000 Query Analyzer, which is quite handy!
