This is one of the things that really impress me about the #SQLFamily. How SQL Server professionals and data professionals care for each other. It is an inspiration. Last week a good friend of mine, Tom Murdock, in the .NET community died from a severe fall. Upon learning of his death, I immediately thought of how the SQL community memorializes its members. I wish the same thing were to happen for .NET community. In my own way I memorialized Tom, by making a WordPress page in Tom's honor.

Problem with the memorial site?
That's strange. I use Chrome and it works fine. This is a CNAME redirect, which should be working.
Try this: https://sqlmemorialstorage.z22.web.core.windows.net/

Steve, what you've started is great, and the site works perfectly for me in Chrome.
I've been wanting to start a blog and debating various low maintenance options. This approach you've taken looks interesting.
After I download the GitHub project, would this be instructions for hosting the Jekyll project in Azure?

Hadn't seen those, but that looks OK. I was using the static site from storage, but that doesn't seem to support the networking very well. I think I need to just get this back to a GitHub pages area, as that's simple and seems to work well.
